The Chippy, in Limavady, is a family run business with a real passion for top quality local food at its core. The business was established in February 2005, now in its 15th year it has thrived, growing year on year. Each year we pride ourselves in introducing new products, improving our service and continuing to provide the highest quality standard of fast food for our customers.

During a major refit in 2018 The Chippy installed a state of the art Florigo range. This range uses an active triple filtration system, it’s the first of its kind in the north west area. This piece of kit produces the cleanest purest oil giving our customers perfectly cooked food every time. The Chippy prides its self in using locally sourced produce and has built up and excellent relationship with its suppliers over the years, often having first pick of fresh produce when it comes to market. When it comes to food, we simply do not cut corners, we use 100% grass fed Irish beef in every burger, along with a full range of grain fed chicken products, premium potatoes and fully sustainable seafood, you can tell quality always comes first. The Chippy prides itself in having an excellent collection and delivery service always keeping the customer’s needs at its core. All these attributes were reflected in our recent success, winning the Best Independent Takeaway away for Northern Ireland 2 years in a row 2018-19 and 2019-20 along with picking up the highly commended award for County Derry/Londonderry in the Ni fish and chips awards 2020.
